29/7/06 NDP Previewokay, i've got my ndp photos and videos all ready! yepps. and so, here's e update for NDP preview 2006!
met eileen at 3.30 at amk mrt station. reached kallang mrt by arnd 4.2o and we stepped into e stadium only at 5.30 liddat when we shld be sitted by 4.45!
i think almost e whole of sg went to squeeze it out that day! queued like mad!
were ushered to sit at e highest, furthest from e performing area but nearest to e fireworks! but it's damn troublesome, we have to open e transparent umbrella whenever there's fireworks!
sat beside 2 aunties who kept talking to us and asking us qns! lols. quite annoying! and when e fireworks come out they screamed like madasses!
e sunset scenary there was pretty nice and we decided to take some shots too!
felt sorry for e marching contingent! they stood there motionless for like almost 45mins! i must salute to them!

yay! and of course e most awaited for part of the whole parade! e FIREWORKS!
btw, for ur own comfort, lower down e volume of ur speaker before playing it! it's quite loud i think.
in total, there's 4 times of fireworks. e ppl there din inform us about e last one and we din get really our umbrella! was busy opening it when e fireworks begin!
managed to take some but missed out quite alot! aiya, e last one was e nicest anw!
overall, e parade and e performance were great! love e kallang wave most but our row like not very co-operative and enthu, ended up not very high. and course, e fireworks were e greatest of all!
e whole thing ended at arnd 8.30 and i reached home at 10.40! ya, thanks to e slow human traffic! traffic jam!
ohh. and my bro told me there was KFC provided for everyone in e stadium but wth, we din get it!
but nevertheless, we enjoyed ourselves that night despite of all the long queues! im craving to go back again next year's national parade!
